Arrest Records in Power County
The Power County Sheriff's Office patrols county areas, runs the detention operation, and maintains records from its own arrests. American Falls Police Department creates reports for arrests made by city officers. Idaho State Police may create a separate report when a trooper is the arresting officer. Each custodian controls its own file, so the agency name is a key part of any Power County arrest search.
A booking is another event. Detention staff record the person accepted into custody, intake charges, court case references when available, and bail information. Incarceration date is not a synonym for arrest time. A person may first be stopped or cited, processed by another agency, or transferred before Power County Detention accepts the booking.
Request Power County Arrest Reports
A historical Power County booking may no longer appear on the live roster. The official fallback is a written request to the agency that made the arrest. The Sheriff Request a Report form lets a requester choose an arrest report, incident report, accident report, or another item. Search keys include a case number, name, or date.
The form separates the report from statements, pictures, and video. That matters because disclosure and redaction can differ by component. Arrest Records: What They Contain
An agency arrest report can identify the event, officer actions, suspected offenses, and the facts recorded during the investigation. Statements, images, or video may be held as separate components. Juvenile information, victim-sensitive facts, protected evidence, and material tied to an active investigation may be withheld or redacted under the Idaho Public Records Act.
The booking record has a narrower purpose. It documents intake, charge labels received by detention, bail, and present custody. The court file begins only after a complaint or information is filed. A BCI history can later join fingerprint-supported arrest data to a reported disposition. No one of these Power County arrest records replaces the rest.
Power County Custody Notifications

Recent Power County Bookings
Power County publishes a current roster, not a verified historical arrest archive or daily arrest blotter. Entries can leave the live view after release. Absence therefore proves little about past custody, and it does not show that no arrest report exists. For an older event, send the relevant agency a request keyed to the name, date, location, or case number.
Charge labels also change across the record path. Detention records what arrives at intake. A prosecutor may amend or decline a charge, while the clerk records what was actually filed and how the court resolved it. Note: The roster's current-custody focus means an old Power County arrest usually requires an agency report request.
Power County Warrant Confirmation
No verified official Power County active-warrant database or local most-wanted search was found. iCourt can reveal a public case event, but it is not a full or real-time warrant list. Confirm a suspected warrant with the sheriff at 208-226-2311 and the issuing court clerk at 208-226-7618 ext. 7. Do not approach someone because of an unverified claim.
After a person is booked, the roster can show a warrant-derived charge, court case number, bail amount, and bail type. The jail publishes a separate nonrefundable $10 sheriff bond fee for each charge or warrant unless a judge groups them. That fee is not the bail amount. Current payment methods should be confirmed before travel because the county page contains differing payment language.
Arrest Records vs Conviction Records
An arrest documents an exercise of law-enforcement authority. A conviction requires a court finding or accepted plea. Power County arrest records and conviction records are created by different offices and answer different questions.

A dismissed arrest can remain on a fingerprint-supported BCI history together with its reported dismissal. Qualifying Idaho arrests may be eligible for BCI expungement under Idaho Code ยง 67-3004(10), such as when no indictment or information was filed within one year, all charges were dismissed, or the person was acquitted of all incident offenses. The person must supply identity verification and supporting certified records. Expunging eligible BCI material does not automatically erase every police, jail, or court copy.
