A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.

We retain an email or contact message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

The published material instead directs readers to Power County custodians, the sheriff, Idaho courts, Idaho State Police BCI, and the Idaho Central Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a personal record concerning someone else.

Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed to these limited categories:

How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, generally accepted security measures are used to protect collected information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, however, and we cannot warrant that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor provided such information, we will delete it promptly.

Depending on the circumstances, the Idaho Consumer Protection Act in title 48, chapter 6 may provide other remedies. The Idaho Public Records Act, title 74, chapter 1, applies to public records held by government agencies. It does not govern visitor information held by this private website.
